I'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!

It was a great experience from the hostess & our server Cory… we felt welcomed and appreciated. The food came fast and it was delicious, perhaps a bit on the pricey side.

Initially we had a problem when we checked in. We had requested to be seated inside and they told us it was "first come, first served." The manager came over and was lovely. He comped us on glasses of wine and was able to find us a table inside in a reasonable amount of time. Our dinner was delicious. Our server was great. It's very noisy, but that's the vibe. We loved our meal and will definitely come back.

We had another wonderful meal at Davenport's with friends last night. The barramundi, salmon, and tuscan seafood pasta were all delicious. The beet and burrata salad was impressive; the size almost made it a meal in itself. Portions of everything are generous and able to satisfy the heartiest of appetites. Banana cream pie comes inside a round graham crust shell with chocolate on the bottom. Signature cocktails are creative and top notch. Service was warm and gracious. Honestly, can't find anything to fault at all. Will definitely be back. Make sure to make a reservation, it was packed.

Service was fantastic JC took great care of us. Very friendly and offered some great suggestions. Our drinks were amazing and couldn't wait for a second serving. The zucchini blossom was a great suggestion and has become our favorite item to start with. The pasta special was a little disappointing. We also shared the brazino and that was delicious.
