The food and birthday and anniversary surprise desserts were outstanding. I suppose it was a busy night as when I ordered my wine. It arrived 20 minutes later and I was already halfway through dinner. That was my only complaint. Nobody beats the food. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the lobster tail as well. Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and sauté mushrooms were fantastic. Noise level a bit too loud for easy conversation but that would be expected on a busy Saturday night!

The Christmas buffet was a bit disappointing. The overall buffet food was good, but the carving station items of prime rib and turkey were extremely disappointing in comparison to the normal quality of these items on a regular day. The prime rib was served cold and the turkey was dry and overcooked. The normal high quality was definitely not there. Not even the B Team.

My experience at Rails was flawless, from the valet to the second I sat down at the table, I had an amazing woman to share this experience with, we had an amazing dinner and some perfectly prepared steaks that I bragged about to many other the following day. I think this place is one of the better steakhouses I’ve had the privilege of dining at. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates an amazing bite! The food was wonderful, buffet style, so some items were not piping hot. The ambience is great, the service was wonderful. Christmas Eve at Restaurant 1915/The Bear Mtn. Inn will be a new tradition.

The Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.
