Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Boston has long been a favorite of mine. Nestled in the historic Old City Hall building in Downtown Boston. The ambiance is a blend of rich history and timeless elegance, with high ceilings, grand windows, and lovely woodwork wainscoting, wine cabinets, and moldings. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by three hosts. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. And then, there’s the food. Ruth’s Chris is renowned for its steaks, and the t-bone I had was a true masterpiece. Cooked to perfection in their signature 1800-degree broiler, it arrived sizzling in butter, with each bite melting in my mouth. Do note that sides are served à la carte so plan accordingly. Reservations are highly recommended. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in an extraordinary meal, Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a must-visit.

We spent our 2024 Thanksgiving dinner at Umbria. We had an amazing meal and service.

Simply great! The food was top notch. The service was both professional and friendly. We have been there many times in the past for a delicious meal and this was no exception. The tuna tartare app was excellent with just the right amount of spice with the raw tuna on a bed of avocado. The seafood entrees were cooked perfectly and the Veal Valdosta was enormous and perfectly cooked as well. We were never rushed and our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. It was a most relaxing evening. The desserts were wonderful and the blueberry cheesecake was amazing. Bricco is definitely worth the visit.

Almost every restaurant has some level of inconsistency, but this restaurant is pleasingly surprising despite changes or minor adjustments.

Our server Kevin was FANTASTIC. He was incredibly passionate about the menu and the drinks. He tried to make us happy and the dinner was so special, as we were celebrating my friend's 50th birthday. The other touches like the birthday menu and the birthday card from the restaurant really helped as well. Thank you so much for a great experience!
