We were first seated at a cold table. The hostess was cheerfully accommodating to reseat us. Noise level varies by location. We were blessed with a less noisy table than the first one. Food was excellent and after my husband did not think his medium was cooked medium enough they warmed it and returned it. He was pleased with the result. Soup, salad, bread, filets, wine and dessert were excellent. Our server was good too

Beautiful ambience, both inside and out! We always request Garrett as our wait-staff… he is very professional, knowledgeable of all wine and menu items plus he’s just a fun guy to talk to!

Lee was an exceptional waiter. Provided a lot of information on the steaks & speciality drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Her genuine warmth and efficiency elevated the entire experience, making us feel truly valued as guests. The food was equally outstanding! From the perfectly cooked, tender steak to the delectable sides and appetizers, every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s expertise and attention to detail. The flavors were rich and beautifully balanced, and the presentation was just as impressive. Steak 48 is the perfect spot for a special occasion or simply indulging in an unforgettable meal. Lovely restaurant in Galveston’s Evia neighborhood. Excellent, friendly service throughout the restaurant. Beautiful decor Upscale Four of us were very happy with the food quality and taste. Highly recommend for a special evening.
