Our return to Porter House Bar and Grill for Valentine's Day dinner reaffirmed why this establishment holds a special place in our hearts. Having dined here previously, I knew its reputation for excellence would provide the perfect backdrop for an intimate celebration, and the evening exceeded every expectation. The food was superb. The culinary journey began with an exquisite amuse-bouche, followed by bread service, appetizers, and a main course, then desserts, which served as a magnificent finale to our evening. Not only was the food exceptional, but our servers expertly orchestrated the entire dining experience. As now empty nesters, we discovered Porter House Bar & Grill to be everything we remembered and more. The staff's sincere commitment to creating unforgettable experiences was palpable throughout our evening, making our Valentine's Day dinner extra special. This visit has solidified Porter House Bar & Grill as our go-to spot for special occasions, and we won't be waiting for one to return. Its superb cuisine, attractive environment, and impeccable service set it apart from other fine dining establishments. We're already looking forward to our next visit, anxious to discover more of what this fantastic restaurant has to offer.

By far one of the very best meals and experiences I have had! We went to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and everyone went over and beyond to make us feel special and celebrated. The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful from the greater, the bartender, to our waiters and the manager. Perfect night in the city and such a beautiful view from our perfect booth! Cannot thank you enough and can’t wait to go back!

I had the best time! La Grand Boucherie has such a beautiful ambiance. Feels very chic when you enter. The bar is stunning. The staff was very friendly, bathrooms very clean. For starters my friend & I shared the ceaser salad. We each had a glass of Sancerre, perfect compliment to our meal. I ordered the Filet Mignon au poivre - it was perfection! I tried my friend’s Bavette au diane which was also fantastic. We shared a side of haricots vert- they were great as well. For dessert we shared profiteroles & the chocolate caramel tart. A great way to end our meal! Sooo good! The chocolate was not too sweet & not too bitter- it was practically perfect with every bite! The service was fantastic. The perfect last supper before my travels… Can’t wait to come back!

This was a treat for Valentine’s Day ( we fly home on Valentine’s Day ) I prefer a big meal at lunchtime and this place did not disappoint, the service from the front door to everyone that brought our food / drinks and cleared up was excellent. The food and ambience were fabulous and add the great service and it makes it one of the most enjoyable meals of my life We started with the butter service garni ( I had read about it ) and a couple of cocktails, the drinks were lovely and the butter service was all and more than I expected. We had the steak frites and a spiced chicken Caesar salad but here’s also fantastic with a glass of the house Cabernet Sauvignon for he with my steak and a Provence rose for my wife very tasty I enquired about the opera cake ( it’s only fir dinner service ) but we turned our frowns upside down when the salted caramel gateau arrived and was a beautiful show at the table and was sublime along with a couple of lattes we had the most wonderful dining experience and by New York standards it was a bargain at $250 plus tip Honestly treat yourself to a great meal and experience and eat here

We had given them a heads-up and they still went above and beyond—not with grand gestures, but with a level of attentiveness and care that made all the difference. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, warm without being overbearing. The staff gave us the space to enjoy our meal in a way that felt personal, yet effortlessly seamless. And then, of course, there’s the food. The tomahawk was steak cooked to perfection and the creamed corn crème brûlée was rich and satisfying. It’s the kind of meal that reminds you why certain restaurants become institutions. What stood out most, though, wasn’t just the quality of the food but the quality of the experience. On a night when we needed a little extra grace, Quality Meats delivered in ways they may not even realize. For that, I’m truly grateful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a meal that’s as refined as it is comforting, in a space that understands the true meaning of hospitality.
