I regularly eat at Hawksmoor for quality steak and great service. But the Apple pie currently on the dessert menu deserves its own special mention. Well worth the 1000 calorie ‘price tag’, it was amazingly delicious.

I’m a Hawksmoor fan and a regular whenever I’m in London. Seven Dials never disappoints in any way. I dined pre-theartre at 5:30. Tonight, a senior staff member came to my table - ‘Hi, good to see you back with us again’. The food is always top notch, but Paul’s visit made the evening memorable, particularly as I was alone. Ahhh you lovely Hawsmoor folks, you still maintain a really high standard. There's plenty of competition around these days but my heart is with you. The service was friendly, attentive and personable. You didn't constantly refill my wine glass, pushing wine hard happens in virtually every restaurant these days, I hate it. Food was excellent especially starters and steak. One recommendation - on the Sunday roast please include something fresh or pickled. It all was very rich and it could have done with something to cut through. Fantastic experience though and will be back!
