Douro Steakhouse is located at the Towne House in downtown Fall River, MA. Only 20 minutes from Providence, RI and 50 minutes from Boston, MA. The spot to stop in on the way to or from the Cape or Newport. A fresh take on American cuisine using the finest ingredients, served in a classy yet casual setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. We prepare delectable seafood, numerous gluten-free options, and natural meats raised without hormones or antibiotics wherever possible. All reservations will only be held for 15 minutes. Please call if a later arrival is needed and we will tell you our next available reservation.We are unable to honor more guests than made on the original reservation due to limited seating. Please call the restaurant directly to see if changes to your guest number can be accommodated. We apologize, but guest number increases will not be able to be accommodated upon arrival to the restaurant. We also are not able to honor additional numbers left in the notes.Carriages cannot be taken into our dining room. We will place them at the host area while you dine.

The Grill at Forty 1° North is a dockside restaurant designed to deliver a fresh, upscale dining and entertainment experience while providing a unique and serene respite from Newport’s bustling waterfront scene.     Our greeting was warm and friendly. Our server, Daniel, was exceptional. The composed Tuna dish was perfectly prepared and executed. The homemade caviar pasta pasta appetizer was outstanding. Everything we ordered was carefully prepared and very tasty. I highly recommend 22 Bowens!

    As always another great experience. What amazes me about the Capital Grill is the consistency of their food and service. I’ve been to multiple locations across the country and they are the same - Great!

    WOW. What a wonderful meal we had at Jo's. The apps were delicious. The carpaccio was very delicate, not too much cheese so the steak was able to shine. The lobster bisque was so yummy. But the star of the night was the lobster carbonara. OMG. I have been dreaming about this dish. Truly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. We live 2.5 hours from Newport, but I will make the drive just for this dish. The drinks were also amazing. Unique cocktails for sure. Service was also a 5/5. I highly recommend Jo's American Bistro and cannot wait to be back. Also we came with a baby and the environment was great for him too!

    Exquisite service, warm and friendly, and impeccable quality from the moment of our arrival and throughout our entire special evening. George always has our special booth ready for us and welcomes us back again. Reconnecting with our favorite and best servers Curtis, Jay and Tim made our dinner and the ambiance perfect. Finally, the Valet gentleman is one of the hardest workers you’ll meet and the nice lady who takes care of our coats is a gem and a very beautiful soul.
