We had an absolutely phenomenal Christmas Eve dinner at our all-time favorite restaurant Eddie V's in King of Prussia. We lucked out "big-time" and got our favorite server ever Alaina for the evening. She gave us such a warm greeting with that very beautiful smile of hers and that just got the evening off to a great start. The Lobster tacos & Caesar salad were delicious and a great way to start off our dinner. the fillet topped with crab meat, lemon sole, rack of lamb and strip steak were all plated & cooked to perfection as usual, something we've come to expect at this wonderful restaurant. The lemon tart was a yummy dessert including the banana bananas foster which was compliments of our very elegant server Alaina. It was very nice that the manager came over to check on us and make sure everything was OK which of course it was. He even assisted our guest at the time of payment with an issue with the gift card which he resolved immediately. Thank you for that. Quite honestly, and no surprise here, what made our evening so much fun was Alaina with her awesome sense of humor. Every time I thought I got a dig at her, she outsmarted me with an even better one right back at myself, that made the evening even more fun. I'm going to have to really sharpen my claws the next time I see her 😂 THANK YOU (as always) ALAINA for making our dinners at Eddie V's so much fun and so memorable. I understand that Allie is back and so a special hello to her from us. Merry Christmas to all !!!

Another great dinner at one of our favorite steak house restaurants. The CG never disappoints with outstanding service, delicious steaks and cocktails. The wine selection is impressive with a nice variety of pairings to go with your meal. The service is outstanding as we have come to expect here. The meal is paced perfectly with just the right balance of attentiveness. Steaks were deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection at the requested temperature. We were seated in a booth with a view into the kitchen providing a cinematic experience of a well run kitchen staff. It was a great time to spend with family to celebrate the holidays.

Our table, along with many others were celebrating a birthday and it seems 401 Prime is a go to destination for such occasions. That said, when a restaurant does so many celebrations it can seem "run of the mill" or a "rinse and repeat" process. Not the case. From the pre-dinner cocktail (well thought out spirits selection and specialty cocktails) to the hostess, wait staff, menu and execution. An individual and lovely experience. Well done to all. After a few years not dining at The Log Cabin, we returned for our 48th anniversary. The booth room was where we last celebrated so we returned there. There are 3 booths and two tables - all were occupied by couples celebrating their anniversaries. My wife had Pasta Primavira, I had the Salmon Oscar. Both were outstanding. Being non- drinkers I can not comment regarding the libations and the server was excellent as we're all the staff, efficient and friendly. As we finished with coffee, a local roast, Whiff coffee roaster which was very good, the owner of the restaurant made his way around the dining rooms and spoke with each couple. Not just in passing but had actual conversations at each stop, ending with an invitation to explore the facility and look around. Very impressive. The prices are not for the faint hearted but in keeping with a fine dining experience. The decor has been redone and refreshed from the last time we were here; it seems brighter and yet intimate at the same time. We will renew our anniversary tradition at the Log Cabin going forward and more than likely bring family and friends for those special dinner celebrations ahead.
