We are a New York steakhouse with a twist. Our Executive Chef is the only one in Southern Connecticut to use the old world technique of skillet cooking; producing the most perfectly cooked steak. Besides our steak entrees, we also offer the freshest seafood, lamb and duck entrees, as well as daily specials prepared to perfection by our master chefs. At Millpond Gatherings, we are an all encompassing hospitality center where you can eat, celebrate, shop, and stay with us here in the quaint town of Northford, Connecticut. The Millpond Steakhouse, run by Executive Chef Pedro Avila, is a farm-to-table modern American steakhouse with a fine dining flare. Our dry-aged grass fed beef is sourced from our own cattle farm just 2 miles up the road, and accompanied with local produce from our surrounding farmers.     Delicious food pleasant service nice ambiance and cool seasoned popcorn instead of bread to start. No complains highly recommend! We got the Mac and cheese and Asian sticky ribs both were delicious!

    Food was fantastic & extremely prompt, despite being so busy! Service even more so. Our server was Andrew. He was absolutely impressive to the point, we had to put in a good word to the Manager. Just when I could not be anymore impressed, Manager Rubins handed me his card & told us the next time we come to make sure we send him a text to make sure we get taken care of. WOW! What an amazing dining experience. 5 Stars to the max. Can’t wait to go back.

    Overall, my dining experience was perfection! The service was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and top notch. Went to Gabriele’s for brunch, there were many delectable options. I went with the burger and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was cozy and the environment was fairly quiet, although the restaurant was pretty busy. I highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.

    My wife and I recently had another outstanding meal at the Northport Hotel. From the fig flatbread appetizer to our main course, the Halibut for my wife and my Lobster Risotto the food was delicious. We have never been disappointed here and we look forward to returning in the near future
