Love the overall. But was expecting to eat a wonderful pasta. We were 4. I tasted the 4 pastas and was not the best for an italian. But the appetizers were great. Very good arancini and pane! The little stage and the music makes it special also.

Platea Miami in Pinecrest exceeded all expectations and provided a truly memorable dining experience. From the impeccable service by our server, Adan, to the deliciously curated dishes, everything was top-notch. The appetizers and sides were just as noteworthy. The Tostones had the perfect crispness, and the Fried Ceviche offered a unique twist on a classic, with its fresh and tangy flavors elevated by the crispy preparation. Our table enjoyed a variety of their offerings, and each item was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The New York Strip and Filet Mignon were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The Prime Ribeye was equally impressive, showcasing a balance of seasoning and juiciness that any steak lover would appreciate. The Risotto was creamy and flavorful, while the Fungi + Onions added an earthy, caramelized touch to the meal. The Jasmine Rice was a simple yet flavorful side that tied everything together beautifully. We paired our meals with White Sangria, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, not too tart. Every detail, from the ambiance to the presentation of the dishes, reflected the restaurant's dedication to excellence. Platea Miami is a must-visit for anyone looking for a premium dining experience in Pinecrest. We'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

Àlvaro and Martìn were the staff who served our table and they were exquisite. The food was unbelievable, the music and energy were sexy and fun, the ambiance was undeniably romantic. My wife and I were blown away by the recommendations for cocktails, the presentation and quality of taste in the dishes and the exceptional attention to detail in service our staff and the restaurant provided for us. It will genuinely be difficult to top this experience.

Went for my 28th birthday, our server Joyce was great.. she explained the menu to us very well. 2 drinks i loved was the peachy plane & the crushed margarita. The best appetizer out of the 3 we ordered was the crab cakes. For our main entree we ordered the chicken Oscar & filet with lobster. Everything was soft and buttery i could cut everything with a butter knife the chef or kitchen was really accommodating my char grilled oysters were a little salty due to the amount of cheese .. the chef himself came out to apologize and fixed it straight away. The portion sizes are large definitely shareable. 10/10 highly recommend.

The service and Althea food were both excellent. This place is a gem!
