La experiencia es increible desde la entrada hasta cuando llegas a tu mesa en mi caso me recibieron con un una nota donde me deseaban a mi y a mi novia un feliz aniversarios es algo diminuto pero esos detalles son los que sobresalen la comida excelente. las papas fritas estaban muy saladas Es algo que deberían tener cuidado pero aparte de eso excelente

First of all, Formento's is a warm and "cozy cool" place to walk into. The next step is the sense that the staff is experienced and truly interested in providing top notch service. That's a darn good start, wouldn't you agree?? In the early rounds, our table most enjoyed the East Coast oysters and the Gem Salad - the sizable salad featuring "perfect" greens, red onion, pecorino cheese and a distinctive vinaigrette. The entree round featured a light & tasty Branzino plus the mushroom risotto - which featured a deep, rich flavor profile that, in my humble opinion, did not benefit from the black truffle. Somewhat disappointing was the decidedly non-standard Cacio e Pepe. We were unable to identify the unexpected flavors but we easily agreed we prefer the old standard. The wine list is terrific, as is the sommelier. In this post-Covid restaurant world, I'm still struggling with the high price levels in quality big-city restaurants. Including a medium beverage tab, the cost of our visit was $150/person. For us, that means we'll be back because we really enjoyed our visit - but it won't be anytime real soon. :-(

10/10 experience. Cute place to have date night! The brussel sprouts were so good and the mashed potatoes were creamy. The steak was 10/10 as well. Highly recommend!
