We take reservations up to 14 days in advance (at 12am midnight)Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items including a kaiseki plate, soup,selection of seasonal nigiri and dessert. . An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Was greeted promptly and seated right away. Different seating arrangements. The room was dimly lit. Could have used a little more light. The server was very professional and prompt. The menu had many choices. The price is slightly higher but probably typical for that level of service and restaurant. We were going to a Raps game and wanted to enjoy a restaurant with a higher star review. This place was great. I would recommend it.
