My favorite seafood spot in Chicago. Love the vibe and energy of the dining room. Huge selection of seafood dishes. Flounder stuffed with blue crab was outstanding, companions loved their grouper. Started with an excellent bowl of old fashioned clam chowder. Service was attentive without being over bearing.

Obviously the sushi was amazing, but the most surprising dish was the mushroom skewers. Thanks to our waiter Phil for the rec!

Our party of 4 had a wonderful time at the Evie, The setting is lovely with large windows on the second floor showcsasing the MMichigan Ave holiday decorations and lights. Our server was terrific, attentive, knowledgeable, personable and gave us good advice. The food was delicious inluding the clams and mussels, Lake Superior Whitefish, chicken, sushi and artichokes. A little expensive but worth it for the quality of the food.

They were great abt accommodating our party of 8 when we had two separate reservations of two tables for 4 each. I also felt very well taken care of with a new red meat allergy ( thank you, lone star tick!!) and the server assured me the staff scrubbed the grill so cross contamination did not occur. Thank you, team Sunda!

As someone who also works in the industry, the dining experience was exceptional, with delectable cuisine and a pleasant ambiance. The beverages were also of high quality. While the service was generally satisfactory, there were a few instances where it fell short. On three separate occasions, incorrect food was delivered to our table. Additionally, the waitress’s attentiveness was lacking, as evidenced by the infrequent visits to our table, and kept missing items that we ordered. Despite these shortcomings, the food runners provided excellent explanations and assistance, which I commend them for.
