Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes. The global cuisine experiments with a bevy of different flavors including unique items such as Grilled Panzanella Salad (jumbo lump crab, toasted focaccia, local goat cheese, pistachios, plum wine vinaigrette), Kobe Beef Sliders (seared foie gras, pomme frittes).     Perfect Anniversary dinner! We ate early and ordered from the Happy Hour Menu - the 24 dollar bottle of Saki was delicious highly recommend drinking it through your meal it’s wonderful! We loved the garlic edamame, the fried calamari, and the eel and avocado roll was particularly delicious! We love this place the perfect sushi feast! Service excellent as usual!

    As usual the food was amazing. It can get pricey especially with a group of 4 or more, ordering alcohol impacts this as well. Must have items: black cod lettuce cups, Nobu Taco, black truffle sea bass, Anticucho lamp chops, & the shishito peppers. For dessert the shaved ice is amazing

    Amazing food, service and ambiance and great recs from our server! We did rainbow, XXX, California, and the veggie California rolls, amazing Tofu entree (most delicious ever and veggies prepared to perfection), salmon and tuna sashimi, with the show stopper of the Big Kahuna roll. Loved the ambiance with families and friends of all ages out and about and a world-class culinary and service team. Can’t wait to come back!

    A hidden gem in a strip mall. Dont let its location fool you, this is a great place for quality, laid back sushi. Dont miss the Wow Roll, its worth the trip alone.
