Great vibes and dining experience. Super fresh sashimi and great tasting handrolls. Excellent service and very attentive staff.

Was really impressed with the restaurant when my husband and I first arrived. Server was really attentive. Once we got our food, it's like we didn't exist. We had finished our drinks before our food got there. All they did was take our plates and empty glasses off the table once we finished eating, didn't even offer us water or a refill. I wanted another drink but after waiting 20+ minutes to even find our server or get him to notice us. We just asked for the check. We opted out of the optional service charge and let our server know and his first response was a rude "Why?!" He then tried to guilt us by saying "Okay, I'll just take off my tip and bring you dessert." Which we declined since we waited so long for the check, I didn't want to wait any longer for a little dessert. The food was DELICIOUS though, just wish it was ruined by the poor service.

Best sushi restaurant in LA, must eat here, great location and ambiance! Everything tasted amazing!

Sasabune always provides a fantastic experience with hands down the best sushi in the entire city of Los Angeles, friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful ambiance.

I didn’t think too much about coming here but it was AMAZING! A definite must see!
