Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes.     Ocean Prime delivered an exceptional dining experience for Valentine’s Day. The food was nothing short of outstanding, with every dish crafted to perfection. Our server was not only attentive but also had impeccable recommendations, ensuring we got the best of both the menu and the night’s drink specials. While the restaurant was busier than expected, and the noise level was a bit higher than ideal, it didn’t overshadow the quality of the meal or the overall experience. If I had to rate it, I’d confidently give Ocean Prime a 4.7 out of 5—an excellent choice for a special occasion or an upscale night out.

    Great Valentine's Day dinner. Although we had to wait past our reservation time, it was wonderful. Our server was excellent despite the craziness of one of the year's busiest days.

    Matsu consistently has great food. The flavors are always original and everything is so fresh. The wait staff are all so knowledgeable, professional and helpful in picking perfect food.. in our party of 4, they really took care of our one gluten free diner to make sure each dish was modified and explained what they did. Thank you for another fun, delicious dinner.
