Nestled in the canyons of Bel Air, SHU is a dining experience like no other - a fusion of Japanese, Italian and Latin flavors and influences.     It was me and my boyfriend’s first time coming here, and we wanted something special for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was nice but our server was especially very kind and attentive. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I got the tilapia with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, and my boyfriend got the shrimp with scallops and mashed potatoes also and we loved it all! Our favorite part was dessert, we got the butter cake and it just melts in your mouth. It was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

    Such a nice neighborhood gem! Service was delightful and the food was delicious. Tempura was wonderful…best dipping sauce we’ve ever had. The shrimp and vegetables were so crispy without being greasy. Husband also had some sushi that he said was out of this world. He had spicy tuna roll and yellow tail lovers roll. Looking forward to the next time.
