Beautiful restaurant. A real experience. 5 of us had a set festive menu and it was excellent. Service friendly and attentive. Amazing views of St Paul’s

The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. The male waiters were lovely and accommodating, but the female server who attended to us was abrupt and rude. One of our friends is pregnant, and we requested well-cooked food for her. When she brought it over, she commented, "This is the stuff you don’t like," which was not the case—our friend simply cannot eat raw food. I also tried to ask her for recommendations, but she cut me off and told me not to interrupt, even though I wasn’t. While the food and overall ambiance were great, her attitude dampened what could have been an otherwise pleasant experience.

The dishes were well presented and all enjoyed. This appears to be an old school sushi restaurant modified for the local community. Families with children were at an adjacent table and a couple speaking Japanese at the counter which might be called a sushi bar. Decor and dress is as low end as you can get. The menu is interesting - they pressed hard for us to select from the robata selection (which the wait staff called Japanese barbeque) and the few pieces we had were very good. The sushi was outstanding although for some reason our order got lost! We ended up thoroughly enjoying everything and the staff were extremely courteous. The price was a bit higher than we expected given the restaurant decor etc ... but the quality was worth it.

We were a big group and we were very well looked after, staff were very friendly and prompt with service. We loved our time here and will certainly be returning.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Fast service. Lovely food. Sashimi and soft shell crab bao buns were our favourite. Sparkling Sake really good.
