Zitz Sum is a 30 seat seasonal restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. Our story, is a story of resilience, passion & commitment, that is translated in a plate of food, excellent service and unapologetic gracious hospitality. Our current menu is an autobiographical journey reflecting Chef’s experiences and our affinity for Japanese ingredients and technique. We currently offer A la carte menu that changes with the seasons, and a Seven Course Tasting Menu that changes weekly. Our tasting menu consists of playful snacks and bites to get the night going, and an array of our signature and favorite current dishes. Part of the tasting menu is presented in a family style format conducive for sharing and celebrating. We love this place. My teens especially. We were there to celebrate my son's 14th Bday. We would be weekly visitors but this economy has killed that ability. $160 for a family of four per outing is outta my social security and professor income league. Even twice per month would be almost $4,000 per year.

We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience here with an attentive server and excellent food. The only negative on the food was that the Greek salad was advertised as having olives and it had none because the restaurant was out of olives. We could’ve been told that at the time we placed our order. The portion size was Substantial. With the temperature in the upper 70s, it was a perfect evening to dine outdoors.
