Robin Menlo Park is a contemporary Japanese restaurant focused on providing a personalized omakase experience using the most pristine ingredients available from the markets each day. Prices range from $109 to $209 depending on each guests unique preferences. Chef/owner Adam Tortosa (1760, LA's Ink) worked in LA under master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, but here he's putting his own spin on the fish he prepares. Other reasons to visit: the stylish interior, hip hop soundtrack, and pretty ceramics made by local craftsmen.

We do keep our Bar seats and a table in the restaurant open for people to walk-ins. Walk-ins are on a first come basis. Feast on artfully prepared Japanese cuisine at Jin Sho. Its contemporary setting features an open kitchen and sushi bar for guests to watch the skillful chefs prepare their meals. Jin Sho owners and Executive Chefs Ichiro Takahashi and Noriomi Kaneko bring a fusion of flavor to creative dishes using fresh, quality ingredients. They can then enjoy an entrée of an array of seasonal fish or enjoy a higher quality of common nigiri such as Blue Fin Tuna from Japan. We are excited to serve you many different kinds of fish beyond what you may find at other establishments. The chefs work tirelessly with distributors to bring the best and most unique fish & sake. Established in 2007, Jin Sho has reviews in San Francisco Magazine and San Jose Mercury News. Prior to opening JIN SHO, the chefs mastered their craft at Nobu NY.

    The total experience was great. The food was really good and as expected. excellent. If you leave looking for something a bit upscale but not to the extreme level, this is your place. It will set you back about $150 a person at least. I ordered a la carte and it was about $100 for me. Omakase is $155 so with tax and tip was a bit over $300. Be aware, no Uni, no otoro, or truffle or caviar with this meal. Just fresh fish, some unique dishes, good sushi rice, professionally served with nice decor and ambience. I would go again for a special occasion.

    We had a wonderful omakase experience at the sushi counter at Robin. Each dish was unique and truly delicious. The flavors were sophisticated yet not overly complicated. The seafood was so fresh and perfectly cut/prepared. And our sushi shef and his assistant were welcoming and very professional. The coconut milk soft serve with sour cherry sauce and caramelized topping (I can’t remember that detail) was the perfect ending. Can’t wait to return
