We had had the pleasure of being served by Alex, who truly elevated our entire experience from start to finish. From the moment we sat down, Alex immediately made us feel both welcome and well-cared-for. He was attentive without hovering, ensuring our glasses never went empty and that each course arrived at just the right time. His deep knowledge of the menu—particularly the newer items—and his thoughtful recommendations spoke to both his expertise and genuine enthusiasm for Uchi. What truly set Alex apart was his warm, personable approach. He takes the time to learn our preferences, patiently answered our questions, and effortlessly guided us toward dishes we absolutely loved. His suggestions were spot-on every time. We left Uchi feeling not only satisfied by the superb food but also immensely grateful for Alex’s impeccable service. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and we can’t wait to visit again and sit in his section.

It was a really good experience because the food was excellent as well as the service. The staff is warm and welcoming and our meal was served promptly so it gave us time to relax and enjoy our meal before heading over to the theater with plenty of time. The prices are high and the menu isn’t as extensive as other Katsuya restaurants but it was fine for a special occasion.

Omakase at its best. Super talented Chef and a great support crew. Every serving was amazing. Delectable, delicious. The truffle halibut! The sweet shrimp with caviar, the smoked cod, the sea urchin…The Abe Sake was a great compliment to go with the sushi. Highly recommend. My teenage son loved it and appreciated his dad’s dinner pick.
