Three brothers and a brother-in-law from El Salvador realized their long-held dream of opening a restaurant together in November of last year. Jaime Sorto, his brothers Hugo and Jose Bonilla, and his brother-in-law Jose Zelaya looked for a name that symbolizes their concept of two cultures coming together.They chose La Malinche, the name given to a historical figure who has been at the center of controversy for centuries. The noble Mexican woman was enslaved and given to Hernán Cortés, a Spanish conquistador. She became his interpreter and confidante. Absolutely Best meal we’ve ever had, every course was a flavor explosion that we could not believe tasted better than it looked although it looked perfect, hard to explain. Thank you, Jose Andres, for dreaming of these amazing meals for us to enjoy. , the combs, the carpaccio, the pears, the duck… The steak… The vegetables… Were amazing

The food here is absolutely amazing. We had to wait a while to be seated, but we were served a appetizer that was on the house. The service that we were given here was also amazing. They checked in on us until we got the table, and they were very kind. It wasn’t too loud, it was like any regular noise level in a restaurant. Overall, it was amazing there. 100% recommend.

Outstanding!!! I celebrated my birthday here with friends and this was our first time dining here. We love the artistic vibes and the food was incredible. We all were blown away! Amazing service too…Brenda and others were so attentive and took great care with our allergies and dietary restrictions. Bravo, Bravo! I can’t wait to return!!💕
