Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. Our first visit to La Bartola was memorable. The service was excellent, but it’s the food that sets them apart. Their plant based menu makes you forget you are not eating animal protein. We tried their the Oaxacan Memelas, Mole Blanco, Oaxacan Tetelas & Pistachio Pipian and for dessert their orange tamale and key-lime ice-cream. All delicious and expertly crafted. Thank you for a delicious meal and excellent service. We plan on coming back!

It was my first time trying plant based restaurant and I really enjoyed each dish. We tried burrata, pappadelle and white truffle agnolotti and finished off with sweet potato cheesecake. They were delicious and all staffs were very kind and attentive. Definitely going back!

Delicious food with and ton of variety! The service was fantastic and the location is very beautiful. We are booked for High Tea because we really liked it here. The manager was also super nice. Does a great job because we didn't have any complaints!
