Canary Wharf workers have a new waterfront wine bar as Humble Grape opened on Mackenzie Walk, along the water’s edge.On the wine list you’ll find 30 wines by the glass (they’ll rotate these regularly) as well as more than 400 wines by the bottle all with the focus on wines from small family wineries that champion sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices. Drink these beauties in or take-them home!Of course where there’s wine, there’s food. Open all day, kicking off with breakfast at 7.30am and running through to the evening. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive, and the food was fantastic. The carrot starter - who knew the humble carrot could taste so good. The cast iron fillet steak was so tender and full of flavour. On the pricier side, but you get what you pay for, and portion sizes were generous.
