Mona Pasta Bar Dinner dishes highlight the marriage of Italian techniques with Southern California ingredients including Pesce Crudo with citrus cured hamachi, kosho beet vinaigrette and hazelnuts, Burrata & Tomato with burrata pugliese, heirloom tomato, pine nuts, pesto and squash blossom, Casarecce with lamb sausage and rapini, Lumache - alla vodka, and a Whole Branzino with caramelized fennel. The menu is designed for snacking over a glass of wine, sharing with friends and/or enjoying a more coursed out dining experience.     Very great experience dining here! I usually come here when it’s super packed but luckily the day I went (and the time) it was not packed at all. With it being less busy, the ambiance was nice and quiet. I was able to hear my conversations. The food was amazing!! The Sweet Corn Agnolotti was very good but lacked a sufficient amount for how much the dish is. The Spicy Pomodoro was amazing!! One of my favorites here and for the amount of pasta it has, it is worth your money. I was not expecting to like the Banana Tiramisu but I enjoyed it so much! I wish I got two but I ended up getting so full haha. Overall 9/10 experience!

    We chose this restaurant because it was walking distance to the Orpheum Theater where we had tickets to a concert. We had calamari fritti and tomato with pesto sauce and burratta cheese to share as a starter and then each of us chose a pasta dish as main course. The portions are small but the food quality is good. There's a limited selection of wine and they allowed us to try a few to help make a decision. We then had olive oil cake and tiramisu for dessert. It was a about $90 per person which is expensive but about what you expect to pay these days for a meal downtown
