      Food is excellent. Great tasting lemonade. Service is friendly and very good after a slow start. First time we experienced this issue at Daily Grill. Outdoor eating experience very nice.

      My go to meal is the French dip. It was excellent as usual. We met friends for lunch and we had a lot to catch up on. At no time did we feel rushed

      Daily Grill has always been a ‘go to’ restaurant when we’re in Palm Desert. Last night was disappointing. Arrived on time yet seated 10 minutes later. After 20 minutes I had to ask for a server to bring water and take our order. 25 minutes later our meal came (2 salad entrees and a chicken pot pie) one salad had chicken breast that was cold. Server returned it and came back and the chicken was tough and inedible (over microwaved!). Server deducted that salad from bill. Couldn’t even find the manager on our way out as no hostess was at desk. Not a happy experience. Not planning on returning.

      Entree arrived first. Then the related app maybe one minute later. There was no offer to take the entree back and redo it and then serve it after the app was completed. App was hot and meant to be eaten first. Bad form. Server seemed rushed.

      We had a great meal. Our waiter was good and made several recoomendations which were very delicious and satisfying. My only negative comment would be that we made our reservations on Open Table and checked in on time, having given my name to the hostess, actually 5 minutes early. I was surprised this morning to see that I received and e-mail from Open Table that we did not attend our reservation.

      The anniversary menu is varied and tempting. Had the Wild Strawberry Salad. It was excellent. The chicken soup was different from any chicken soup I’ve ever had and very good.

      Always a good experience. We sat on the patio with our dog and were made to feel welcome and had great food and service. Love Daily Grill!

      I love their Manhattan Clam Chowder. Our salads were generous and delicious. We had the steak salad, lump crab Louie, grilled shrimp and avocado salad, and an order of Lox and bagels. We all were very satisfied and very full. It was a perfect way to enjoy a Sunday morning. We went to the Living Desert in the morning. We had reservations for four at noon but were done early. We took a chance are were at the Grill at 12:15. They seated is right away.
