Located in the heart of London’s Soho, Dean Street Townhouse is set inside two Georgian buildings and offers an all-day menu with a focus on British classics, including a traditional Sunday roast, English breakfast and afternoon tea.

The dining room and bar feature vintage armchairs, contemporary British art, wooden floors, and an open fire in the parlour, while the front terrace offers views of Soho.

    Traditional afternoon tea returns to Dean Street Townhouse. The full tea for £30 includes sandwiches, cakes, scones and your choice tea or coffee, or £43.50 including a glass of Thienot Champagne. Tea is served in our cosy parlour from Monday to Saturday between 2pm and 5pm. Please note that we do not offer afternoon tea in December. For bookings of 5 guests or more, please email restaurant@deanstreettownhouse.com. Please note that we do not accept cash.

                                                                      Love this place, attentive service with attention to detail and friendliness, they made a point to service a special request, food is always on point, atmosphere is vibrant, surroundings comfortable, a wonderful dinner experience.

                                                                      The whole experience was exceptional. The greeting was warm and welcoming, the waitress was very attentive, the food was of good quality and served in a timely manner, thank you for a wonderful evening.

                                                                      Was really looking forward to trying this place - we waited 45 min for drinks. And the food was served before we got anything to drink. We had to ask 2 or 3 times for everything we ordered. The waiter was really sweet but they were understaffed and the restaurant was 60% full 🫣 The food was good but the overall experience was just not up to standard.

                                                                      Rather hit and miss. We've dined at Dean Street Townhouse in the past and it's been a hit. Alas, this time it was a real miss. We waited for almost 40 minutes after arrival to be served our drinks and when the food finally came we didn't feel it warranted the price tag. The service was pretty perfunctory, which for an establishment of this kind, charging the prices it does, is unacceptable, and especially as some diners who will book this restaurant will do so for a special occasion. We dined on Christmas Eve in the early evening as a little Christmas treat for ourselves, but the restaurant seemed to be getting ready to close up early. We understand that at the end of a long year, staff may be looking forward to a well-earned holiday, but managers please, if you are going to take the bookings, make sure you can provide the goods and the service to justify your prices. Disappointing this time, and what might have become a regular haunt for us, is now an unlikely candidate because of its inconsistency.
