Located in the heart of London’s Soho, Dean Street Townhouse is set inside two Georgian buildings and offers an all-day menu with a focus on British classics, including a traditional Sunday roast, English breakfast and afternoon tea.

The dining room and bar feature vintage armchairs, contemporary British art, wooden floors, and an open fire in the parlour, while the front terrace offers views of Soho.

    Traditional afternoon tea returns to Dean Street Townhouse. The full tea for £30 includes sandwiches, cakes, scones and your choice tea or coffee, or £43.50 including a glass of Thienot Champagne. Tea is served in our cosy parlour from Monday to Saturday between 2pm and 5pm. Please note that we do not offer afternoon tea in December. For bookings of 5 guests or more, please email restaurant@deanstreettownhouse.com. Please note that we do not accept cash.

However, while the servers were kind, welcoming, and professional, they appeared to be somewhat overworked. Our server had to attend to the fireplace repeatedly, adding wood, a task that perhaps should have been handled by someone else. Finally, we weren't offered assistance with pouring our tea; this small detail would have elevated the experience from a 9/10 to a perfect 10/10.

                                                                      Had a lovely round table, ordered the vegi breakfast which is very generous - 2 eggs ( which were perfectly cooked ) spinach steamed, feta with chilli - yummy, mushroom, beans, avocado smash - beautifully seasoned, potato patty in bread crumbs and sour dough toast - all of it delicious and filling. All washed down with fresh orange juice and delicious coffee. It’s fresh, tasty and filling. The staff are so lovely - attentive without hovering, nothing is to much trouble! Great value for money - the whole experience was a joy.
