Chef Emeril Lagasse's take on the grand American steakhouse. Delmonico Steakhouse takes its name from the legendary, century-old New Orleans institution, Delmonico Restaurant and Bar. Delmonico Steakhouse is elegant and luxurious both in cuisine and atmosphere while offering a comfortable, approachable ambiance that is as breathtaking as it is inviting. With one of the top meat selections globally, Delmonico Steakhouse focuses on in-house dry aging Creekstone Farm meat selections. Inspired by Chef Emeril’s New Orleans culinary roots, the emphasis on Creole cooking builds upon French techniques with an infusion of robust flavors that elevate the traditional steakhouse experience using the freshest and finest ingredients. Paired with one of Wine Spectators Grand Award winning extraordinary wine programs and a selection of 700 whiskeys, the level of attention to detail makes each experience restorative in nature and keeps guests coming back time after time regardless of the occasion.

    The service was very good and the food was delicious. Don’t expect a quiet, intimate setting , definitely no candlelight and it was noisy. There were 4 of us and it was a little difficult to converse across the table.

    Checked in early and was told to come back closer to scheduled time. Was never offered to sit at bat and have drink. Once checked back in was sat near the restroom. We were a two top with my 17 yo son so I felt we were not enough of a bill to waste their time on us. Received appetizers on time then waited way too long for the main course. Never was told how long it would be or if I needed another cocktail. Once done with main course had to push our plates to the end of the table to acknowledge that we were done. Ordered desert which was the banana cream pie. That was the highlight. Had to beg for check. Overall for the price I have had much better with better service.

    "I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

    Pork chop cooked well done not medium rare as asked - meat dry. Took it back in exchange for a filet which was medium rare- asked for rare - steak dry and no seasoning - they took it off the bill but very disappointing as I’ve eaten there many times

    An amazing romantic dinner. The sommelier was spot on with recommending the Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain- a growing area in CA we were unfamiliar with. The banana cream pie was a 10/10 to top the night off with some beautiful madieras from Portugal.

    We reserved a table for 12 well in advance and were pleased to be seated in the private dining room facing the kitchen. The service was perfect. All staff were attentive and professional. Food was terrific. Most had steaks- all but one was cooked perfectly. The over done steak was taken off our bill. Drinks and wine were paired perfectly. Thank you for a terrific night. One of nicest restaurants in the Venetian.
