A ground-to-glass small-batch distillery located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. We offer full service dining, a locally-driven food menu, craft cocktails made exclusively with Fallen Oak spirits, and several Lone Oak draft beers.
We have four seating areas that are uniquely different - the Lawn, Perch, Tasting Room, and Montgomery County's only Speakeasy. All reservations booked online are for our Speakeasy (shhhh, don’t tell anyone!). We also accept walk-ins for the Speakeasy and the other three seating areas.
We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. The Lawn, Perch, & Tasting room open at noon each day; our Speakeasy opens at 4pm. Please be aware that all guests of Fallen Oak must be 21 years or older. For those that are interested in booking large parties (15+ guests), we have several private event spaces that can be rented upon request.

The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.
