Recipient of the AAA-Four Diamond Award since 1996, the Golden Baccus Award for outstanding wine selections and most recently Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. Duane’s features the finest USDA Prime Steaks and the freshest seafood in the perfect setting for celebrating any occasion.


The warm amber tones, sophisticated décor and art compliment the steak & seafood restaurant's central masterpiece, the Charge Up San Juan Hill painting.

This significant painting of Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders measures almost eight feet tall by six feet wide and is one of the largest paintings located at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa.

                                                                          ribeye, mashed potatoes, and green beans were all great. as was the pessimist red wine blend. the bread pudding was a pass - was more like a dry muffin. nice and quiet so we could talk/be romantic.

                                                                          It was wonderful! My three friends and I had a 5 star dinning experience. The service was wonderful, and the steaks we all ordered were cooked as requested. There's not one negative thing to say about our dinning experience.

                                                                          Lovely spot. Meh on the food - at least for the price. Crab cake had potential but it was very dry. As for steaks, they do not know medium from medium well. Premium steakhouses should be able to nail that. The shrimp cocktail was good as was the booze cocktail. Staff/service was excellent. Unlikely I would go back, though.

                                                                          The Mission Inn is a beautiful hotel but I expected more from my first experience eating at Duane’s. It would have been nice to have been seated in the main room vs the upper level (as you walk into the main room). There were open tables and I could have complained but didn’t want to start off the evening that way. For the prices they charge for their food, I expected a more satisfying dinner. Unless you want to pay $85 for a protein that comes with the vegetables, everything else is a la carte. Our bill was over $250 and that’s with no dessert only one glass of wine. Parking was a nightmare too. Wasn’t worth the trip.

                                                                          Everything was delicious. I don't typically drink cocktails but had one for our special occasion, and it was great. The 16 oz Ribeye was full of flavor. Romantic setting. We will definitely go back.
