We are open for dine-in and takeout every day of the week. We feature live entertainment from 3:30-5:30pm & 6:00-8:00pm daily. Except for Sunday, live music from 9:30-11:30am & 6:00-8:00pm. Please visit our website at dukeskauai.com for current menus or to order takeout online.

With the crystal blue waters of Kalapaki Bay and the Hoary Head Mountains surrounding you, Duke’s Kauai invites you to celebrate life like the legend, Duke Kahanamoku, himself. The unique island-inspired atmosphere connects guests to the garden isle with luscious indoor waterscapes and a breezy Barefoot Bar. The Barefoot Bar is seated on a first come-first serve basis.               I took my small family of 3 here for Christmas Eve dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced all things considered. Everything tastes fresh and professionally prepared. Service was a little delayed due to the holiday, but we were overall very pleased with our dinner. Amazing food, beautiful view, and a really welcoming ambiance. We will happily return should the occasion ever arise. The Hula Pie is literally to die for and makes a great addition to any dish you order. All in all, a great experience for me and my family!

              Christmas Eve dinner at 4:00. Friendly service, delicious food, beautiful view of the ocean at sunset. The Coconut Ginger Braised Seafood was amazing. One order of the Hula Pie was enough for the 4 of us to share- so yummy! Great experience- thank you to our server, Kelsey R who treated us like family. You are sooo sweet!! - The Pascarellas (family of 8)

              The menu is extremely small and portions are even smaller. Dukes Kauai is a mini version of Dukes Waikiki. The meal was over priced and bland. Skip this if you can.

              This was the third time dining at Duke’s upper dining area for dinner. The food is delicious, the staff is warm & friendly, and the view is gorgeous. Highly recommend this place for an early dinner and a walk on the beach after at sunset.

              Read several reviews but our experience was not good. Drink service was extremely slow, my husband ordered a beer, I ordered a la pina, and kids had 2 soft drinks. We were finished with our appetizers before the kids received their soft drinks and 5-10min later we received our alcoholic beverages. A separate drink server brought us our drinks. Seemed ridiculous that kids couldn’t get their drinks before the appetizers. Appetizers were okay, we got coconut shrimp and calamari. Our dinner entrees were bland and over cooked. We got teriyaki sirloin and chicken and ribs. The only good part of our meal was the hula pie

              We love Dukes and always dine here every time we visit the islands. Fantastic food with great salad bar, delicious fresh fish, tender ribs and great cocktails. Very attentive service. Beautiful tropical atmosphere with fabulous view of the cove.

              Out experience at Dukes was amazing both nights we went there. Our waiter Jake was friendly and engaging and very attentive to us. Definitely recommend this restaurant if your in Kauai.
