Eden has definitely lost its shine!
As annual visitors for the past decade we look forward to coming and enjoying an imaginative tasting menu accompanied by impeccable service. This was definitely NOT the case this year. We had the Fauna tasting menu- first the good- cocktails were excellent and imaginative as was the wine. The rest of the meal was terrible, starting with the amuse which was a cucumber gazpacho which was tasteless, the maple cured fish course had not been cured long enough and was very fishy tasting. We then waited one hour for the tenderloin course( which was good), when this was complained about- the manager stated it was due to an allergy- ( strange for what was a sous vide meat prep) and took a very paltry sum off the meal. The cheese course was a Camembert that tasted off, the dessert course Zephyr was well made- but not nearly good enough to make up for one of the worst restaurants experiences- save your money and head to other fine dining establishments such as the Post in Lake Louise.
