EDISON, craft ales + kitchen is an inventive bar and restaurant that brings together the food culture and local flavors of downtown, with expansive indoor and outdoor seating and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Named for frequent historical visits from Thomas Edison and his "Vagabonds" (Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford), EDISON serves NC craft beers, small batch bourbons, handcrafted cocktails, and regionally inspired food in a contemporary, fun, and artistic setting.

Several renowned artists who celebrate the creativity of the area and call this community home are showcased in the indoor dining room, offering our patrons a true Asheville experience. The jalapeno bacon wrapped bison meatloaf is a must try !

                            Overall, everything was great. However, the placement of tables really needs to be reconfigured. We were a table of 4. The placement of our table was horrible. We were almost sitting in the dark. Needed our cell phones to read the menu. The did try to accommodate us with a table candle. But, it really didn’t help much. When you to to the Grove Park Inn you have very high expectations and expect to the restaurants on site to have the same. So, if we go back in the future, I will request a table….

                            What a lovely experience! So festive and fun! The ambiance was warm and comfortable. The waitress was delightful and attentive! Definitely got us in the Christmas spirit!!

                            Love Grove Park and Edison. We are locals and have enjojyed many times. Gals at hostess stand very friendly. Tanner our server is amazing- engaging- friendly. Asset to the company. So glad he has been on team for 5 years- he is a keeper! Loved food and our table next to window.

                            Had a fabulous visit to Omni Grove Park Inn where Christmas spirit was evident in spite of the devastation following Hurricane Helene. Beautiful evening on the back terrace with views of the mountains, fabulous dinner at Edison ! Support your local businesses ! They’re happy to have you back !
