Reaching back to his roots, internationally acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval created El Centro DF to introduce Washington DC to signature authentic Mexican flavors and traditional dishes that he grew up enjoying. The dynamic two-story restaurant in Georgetown, with a back patio, is also home to over 300 tequilas, mezcals alongside craft Mexican-inspired drinks.

Excellent service and tasty food. Fun ambiance. We were a large party. Some arrived earlier than others. Our table was ready for us ahead of time. We didn’t feel rushed at any moment. Thanks for everything!!

El Centro D.F was great!! We celebrated a birthday (lunch) for my husband. It took a bit to get seated but once we sat down, the service was good. Delicious food. We will be back!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner. We all had tacos, my husband had the spicy margarita, I had the red sangria. The sangria was a little too sweet for my taste. We loved their salsa and warm chips and our dinners were fantastic!

Food was good but disappointed on the desert. The Churros were rushed and too doughy inside and almost burnt on the outside. I’ve had them at that place before but not the same this time around.

Came for Sunday brunch! Decided on the bottomless mimosas and bottomless brunch (I think that's the name of it), and the food was delicious. The serving staff, including our waiter - Alexis H - was fabulous and very attentive. Our waiter was very helpful with his suggestions for delicious things to try and checked back with us regularly to make sure that we had everything we needed! I believe even the manager came over at one point to refill the mimosas (very much appreciated!) We will definitely return!

Fantastic drinks and great food, we had a table of 8 and the service was a little slow but it was really busy. Definitely coming back!
