    I’ve been loving this place for over 20 years since it opened, though we don’t get in all that often. This most recent visit was for my husband’s birthday. It was just as good as I remember, and the drinks were even better than I remember. I love the ambiance, and the Photo Booth always commemorates a memorable experience. Sad to say, the booth wasn’t working properly this time so we didn’t get our strip of pics for our collection. 😩 Thanks though for the birthday churros!

    El Vez is always a must do in Philly and NYC, it’s that good! We stick with the Tacos Al Carbon for 2 with the steak, and a side of black beans and rice. Don’t mess with perfection!! We used to do the pitcher of margaritas which is more economical than single glasses- you get about 5 drinks from the pitcher. The problem is that you sometimes end up forcing yourself to drink more lol I know right? They are fairly stirring and let’s just say I drank more than I should have once- and although good I don’t remember part of the night. So now we stuck to individual glasses of margaritas! This time our waitress Kayleigh was excellent! She is one of the best. Every time we have dined in the Philly location we have never had a bad experience!

    It was okay went for my birthday and we were leaving when they go oh we forgot it was your birthday and rushed over churros. So I wouldn’t not go there for a special occasion. Food was good. I hate the bathroom situation where you wash your hands out in The open in a dark space with several men and me - didn’t feel so safe. Weird.
