Portofinos restaurant, located at 897 Post Road in Warwick, Rhode Island, has been an institution in Rhode Island for the last 25 years.
Elizabeth welcomes families Children under the age of 10 eat FREE every night. We are located near the airport and hotels are happy to shuttle you there.
Last minute and large party reservations are not a problem. We can accommodate any size party due to our three dining areas.
Here on business no problem. Host your next corporate dinner with us. We can provide a private room at no additional charge,

Our menu includes traditional Italian dishes ,seafood and steaks. We offer roasted garlic served with warm bread and extra virgin olive oil is brought to every table. WOW! We have driven by this restaurant so many times and saw that the parking lot was overflowing but had no idea why. Yesterday, we found out! The outside doesn't look like much but when you walk in there is a surprise. It is obvious you are stepping into a wonderful, beautiful, high class place.... the decor was elegant, the workers were smiling, the tables intimate. Our expectations soared and we were not disappointed. We were seated in one of the rooms, at a nice small table. We were the first in the room but though the room filled up later, we felt like it was only us together. Quite romantic. The server, Jeremy T (ask for him), greeted us and started to care for us throughout the night. He was the perfect blend of just enough/not too much service. We started with a large, shared Portofino Paradise which helped make us feel intimate. (Long straws, leaning forward to take sip, tasty). We shared the crab cake appetizer and then had the specials. Duck for my beautiful wife, stuffed lobster for me. Wonderful! We finished the evening with a shared salted caramel gelato. More surprises were in store: a rose for my wife and small glass of champagne. The last surprise was the bill. The bill was a surprise? Yes! We have paid 2 to 3 times more for a meal locally. Are we going back? Absolutely!

We love dining here. We like to sit in the bar area where Amy does a great job juggling both the bar and the high top tables. The food is consistently good and the portions are generous. The Tuscan beans and greens is our favorite dish. It is superb!

The Restaurants Week deal motivated us to drive over from the East Bay to try Elizabeth's for the first time. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious, and service was truly great. Standouts were the wonderful meatballs, calamari, chicken romana. Fine desserts, too. Lots of little touches made the meal particularly special, such as the fresh bread served with dipping sauce prepared at table. Portions were large, so we ended up taking home parts of our mains. A meal well worth the drive. We'll be back.

The food was excellant. The service was good. The music was a lil loud and not what I thought I’d hear from this place. Also we didn’t receive our limoncello shot after dinner. We didn’t ask for it because we figured if the way it couldn’t remember, we weren’t gonna remind him.

First time under new ownership. Ben and staff really came through. Although he insisted nothing had changed…I dear to say our meals were even better than before. Thank you, Ben for keeping Portofino alive and well.
