Southern hospitality, fine coastal cuisine, and well-chosen wines in a comfortable, elegant 1900 mansion have made Elizabeth on 37th a favorite destination in Savannah since 1981. Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. The wine program and service staff are led by owners Greg and Gary Butch. Elizabeth on 37th is located in the Victorian District. The mansion, built for a cotton broker, is decorated with historic Savannah colors and patterns, fresh flowers, original paintings and ceramics, and is entered through fragrant herb gardens. *We are able to seat parties larger than 8, please contact the restaurant for availability via phone or email.     We did not want a 7 course meal with wine pairing. Too much food. And quite expensive. We love Elizabeth's. Will verify before we return. Bill for 2 was in the $500 range with tip.

    My New Year’s Eve experience at Elizabeth’s is mixed. Our waiter, William, did a nice job of explaining the wines and what to expect. A young lady brought the food and seemed shy or timid almost like she whispered what we were being served and couldn’t wait to shrink into the woodwork. The wines were lovely paired. Amuse bouche was a pleasant surprise. The food overall was good… not great. The biggest disappointment was the filet which by itself was delicious but it was smothered in an overpowering sauce which would have been better served “ on the side”. Service felt rushed. We were out the door in just over an hour for this seven course meal. I’ve eaten here before and the food and service was excellent. Sadly tonight’s meal was less than expected.

    We always eat at Elizabeth's on New Years Eve. This year they served a seven course meal. Each course was creative and delicious. Our favorite was the lobster taco. A true culinary adventure.

    We had a very special meal for our Mini moon trip to Savannah. Highlights from the menu were the mussel and salmon tastes, flounder and beef were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for a romantic meal.
