Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our shared plates promote a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.
In addition to being a popular "pre-show" dining venue, Eva provides a "from scratch" dining experience so please plan on approximately an hour and a half for us to execute the best possible experience.
We are in the heart of downtown so we love walk-in traffic! We hope to see you soon!

We are also open for Sunday Brunch from 10am-2pm!

Our private event space above our Bakery just up the street at 155 S Main is the perfect space for all of your celebrations, whether company party, informal buffet, family gathering, reception, or formal dinner. While visiting Salt Lake City, I was thrilled to discover this gem of a restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious, with creative and intriguing flavor combinations that truly impressed me. The service was top-notch, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I celebrated my birthday here, and it couldn’t have been a better choice—such a memorable evening. Highly recommend!

So glad we found Eva’s tapas restaurant. Ambiance, service and food were all excellent. We enjoyed a variety of amazing flavors - every small plate was delicious but our fave was Eva’s steak in a wonderfully spicy sauce. I’m not typically a fan of sauces on steak, but this is the exception. Highly recommend Eva’s.

Haven’t been in awhile. Seated in the rear felt lonely at first but it did fill up. The steak was awesome as was the beet salad. The calamari was like chewing rubber bands and the free dessert offered as comp (chocolate cake and teeny ice cream scoop) was very so-so. I would still go back but they should up their game to compete with all the establishments around downtown!

Great food, service was excellent… maybe a touch too quiet for conversations to be somewhat private (just turn up the music 1 little notch). Will come back again and again!

My husband and I love this place! We had the cauliflower,olives & chorizo, lobster ravioli, chopped salad, bacon and date pizza, pot de crème for dessert. Can’t wait to go back soon.
