Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982. Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident. After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's. For more than forty-one years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest. In 2006 Antonio's middle daughter Alessandra became the manager and has since taken over with her husband Micah. Had the toro tuna flight, delicious. The salmon skin salad, crispy strips of the skin atop iceberg, very nice. The monkfish liver salad was tantalizing , medallions of monkfish liver on cucumber slices with a tangy ponzu sauce. The server was polite, professional, there when needed him.

Except for valet (upon arrival, he just looked at us, zero greeting or communication...), our experience was excellent all around. Caviar service, veal mousse, carpaccio, gnocchi, lobster pasta, clam pasta, and halibut. Clam pasta was just okay. Everything else was perfect. Thank you, La Grotta.

Everything I ordered was very tasty. I loved the lamb chops. I switched the rice that came with the meal to a different variety. This was done without any objections.
