Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. I go to this restaurant quite a bit. The food is always phenomenal and normally the service is too. However, it took a very long time order this time and many things were forgotten on our order. The grill was also not working as well as it normally does. This will not stop me from going as I believe this is a one off experience.

Found the food was ok. The Cornish hen my go to dish here was ok but not its usual. Just an off night I guess. Salad (Shiraz) was great and chopped salad that our friends got was good. The koobediah that my husband and friend had was good. Menu is limited so have not have frequented as much as probably would

Always a delicious meal! The dips and pita were fresh and creamy. The filet mignon kabobs and rice with dried cherries and pistachios was perfectly cooked and the rice was fragrant and tasty. Service is always excellent but not obtrusive

We were greeted by the warm and friendly staff, setting the tone for a great dining experience. For dinner we had a wonderful bottle of white wine and enjoyed the tender and flavorful octopus meze, followed by the fresh branzino fish with a classic greek salad. The food was authentic and we highly recommend.
