Jack Timmons grew up in Texas and has lived in Seattle for over three decades. In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. Returning to Seattle, he bought an offset smoker, imported some post oak, mesquite and hickory, and started the Seattle Brisket Experience.After more than a year of practicing the art of barbecue, and serving old-school, succulent smoked meats to thousands of Northwest BBQ fans at ‘BBQ Raves’, Jack opened his first restaurant in the South of Downtown (SoDo) area of Seattle – Jack’s BBQ in 2014.At our newest location on the border of Bellevue and Redmond, we serve authentic Central Texas Barbecue with Brisket, Ribs, Sausage and Chicken. Truly one of the top 5 meals of my life. This brought be back to Japan in flavors but had textures that my American palette likes. My husband and I can't stop talking about how amazing it was to sit at the counter and watch Chef Jun work his magic. Every bite was better than the last. The staff were all incredibly attentive, we even had our coats returned warm from a heated closet to top off an amazing evening. Highly recommend this experience and if you enjoy tea, do the tea pairing it was so worth it!

Eating a La Mar is an entertaining and delicious dining experience. If you have never had Peruvian food, just looking at the menu is intimidating. Our server made this experience wonderful and memorable. She broke down the menu making it simple to understand and recommended the options and progression of food. The dishes are served beautifully plated and are delicious. Best seafood I have had in Bellevue - move over sushi restaurants , new game in town!

The food was delicious!!! I had the Lemon shrimp Gnocchi, my grandson had a small pizza and my guy had a Italian Grinder and he said it was delicious... The pizza was delicious as well... And our server and other waitstaff were awesome!!! We will come again and again... Oh and we had Garlic knots and they were delicious also!!😋😋😋
