Managed to get a table at their very popular Xmas by candlelight event and had a delightful couple of hours. Had to go to the 5.30pm sitting, no others available, which was a bit early for us. Our table was booked for another couple at 7.30pm which we would have preferred. Food was very good. We shared a starter of pate which was unremarkable but the main courses of venison and pork were excellent, as were the desserts. We sat right by the log fire and the premises looked very pretty with lots of fairy lights and candles. Next year we will book earlier and get a later table. Recommended.

First visit, won’t be our last!… Fabulous food and amazing service 10/10👌

Lovely place to eat, and have done so many times. Great staff in particular - very welcoming.
