Come enjoy old Italian-style dishes, known today as Italian comfort food, at The Kitchen Consigliere as executive chef Angelo Lutz preserves the heritage of real, authentic homestyle cooking. His spot is an informal BYOB Italian eatery with an emphasis on the peasant dishes found in traditional homestyle Italian cooking. Influenced by the dishes he ate as a youngster, Angelo's cooking style stems from teaching and recipes taught by his mother and grandmother.     The food and service were both outstanding. We had a 4:30 reservation, so it was quite. But the place filled out by time we left. Clams casino pizza was a special and I hope it makes it to the main menu. We will be back to try some other of the tasty food on the menu.

    Had dinner the night after Christmas. Place was very busy, but we were seated promptly at our reservation time. This is a neighborhood restaurant with tight seating, but very comfortable and inviting. Service was attentive and friendly. We had the little neck clams over linguini and the salmon. Both were very good. This is a BYOB. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but not a showstopper. This was our first time there and we will definitely return.

    We were a four top on Christmas evening. We arrived on time for our 7 pm reservation. Check in was crowded but they quickly got us to our table. The staff was amazing, especially our server, Barr. He was informative, friendly and a great waiter. The food was fantastic, arrived quickly after ordering. We all agreed we would be back soon!

    Food was outstanding!! Highly recommend the beet salad and tuna tartar to start. Honestly, I could have eaten just that and have been satisfied! Others got the Caeser salad (which was a huge portion!). Pasta was clearly homemade, and the Branzino over spinach melted in my mouth! Service was impeccable! Friendly and joking, yet professional at the same time. I don't know why it took me so long to come here, but I will DEFINITELY be back!! Job well done!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
