If you ask the brilliant minds behind Le Petit Paris, Fanny and David Rolland, They will say “We were born in a restaurant, literally”. From Grandpa to father, the restaurant business has been a natural part of their daily life.They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients.     Our server, Fidel was awesome and attentive. He helped up decide our drinks and meal. The calamari was delectable. The quesabirria was savory but not salty and the sauce had just the right amount of heat like a fancy French dip but with much more flavor. The carne asada with vegetables was delicious with lots of flavors as well. The Don Fulano imperial extra añejo was my favorite. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday!

    My daughter and I dined at Bestia as first-timers before heading to the Disney Concert Hall to listen to the amazing Jennifer Hudson. Several parties around us were doing the same thing-great minds think alike. After receiving lots of helpful suggestions from Franklin, our server, we opted for a glass of Riesling and a Cruise Control as our beverages and shared a Margherita pizza, Cavatelli alla Norcina, and the Grilled Pork Collar. All were delicious options. The pizza was so flavorful with just the right amount of char on the crust. The pasta married the sauce, sausage and shaved truffles so well, and the pork collar was sublime; tender and flavorful. For dessert we shared the Holiday Cookie Frozen Torte which gave us a little of everything-cake, coconut, pecans and ice cream. Franklin and his team were friendly, attentive, and professional. We both agreed we would love to dine here again

    Hade an amazing dinner. Perfect atmosphere and the food was impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet brasserie in DTLA serving authentic and well made French staples. Will be back soon!
