What you’ll find here is classic, Caribbean-inspired American food with tiki flair. Cubano Roasted Pork, Jerk Chicken and Coconut Shrimp are in synch with the mambo rhythm of your appetite, and our house-ground burger is one like you won’t find anywhere in town. Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and a list of Street Cart items will have you coming back to try them all, whether you order something “to go” from our walk-up counter, stay to eat on our spacious outdoor patio, or take a seat inside.Coconut Club’s décor evokes a celebration of Mission Beach’s nautical and maritime past, which takes form as an inspired interpretation of a 30’s-style sailor tiki club. Rum is the star here, and has a leading role in our creative list of grownup cocktails, which includes shareable, tiki-inspired punches and bowls to drum up conversations and generate a buzz. Coconut Club is also a purveyor of fuel that fires the craft beer frenzy, with 20 local and microbrew tap handles.

Inspired by an Italy road-trip Chef Ryan and I (Arturo) took back in 2008, we’re pleased to introduce Catania, the newest member of the Whisknladle Hospitality family. Here, we’ll be featuring simple, seasonal and authentic Italian Coastal Cuisine (None of the Italian version of TexMex you see most other places). Our commitment to authenticity will be evident in our use of wood burning ovens and grills, an all Italian wine list as well as an exclusively craft Italian Beer program. (Yes, Italy has an amazing craft beer movement nobody’s heard about.)

    It takes a lot for me to be impressed on every level but I cannot say enough good things about Elvira. From the outstanding service to the knowledgeable staff to the quality of the food and drinks. Wow! We were started off by a great male (manager maybe?) who was super thorough with my food allergies and knew everything about the menu. I had: - the vegan caccio Pepe with gluten free pasta- WHICH IS HOMEMADE and so so good. The best gf pasta I’ve had in San Diego. - vegan mozzarella caprese salad was also so good for being vegan. Super fresh, flavorful tomatoes. - gluten free pizza: the crust is homemade and so realistic tasting/texture that it’s scary! Haha. I had vegan cheese also on that- you could hardly tell drinks: the Italian red wines were delicious. Also had a few drinks from the cocktail menu: the fig jam mezcal cocktail (What a COMBO! ♥️) as well as the white Negroni YUM

    Lovely place, always a great choice. Yummy food, great location and drinks are amazing. It was our 3rd time here. Its always great service. We tried dessert too, its was nice and light.

    The jerk chicken wings are the best! Also love the island salad with its yummy chimichurri dressing. Coconut margarita is my favorite drink. All the servers are fantastic too!
