We are Kaizen. It all started when longtime friends from Flushing, Queens, came together with an idea that would soon be introduced to their hometown city. They all shared the same love for Japanese traditions and the simplicity, yet, flavorful ingredients that are carefully constructed into each Temaki. Our passion is to bring an authentic and contemporary Temaki (hand rolls) & Omakase concept that highlights delicate hand rolls and artful craft cocktail pairings to Flushing, Queens. The executive chef, Ben, also a former executive chef at Sushi Seki, an Alumnus of Michelin-starred Tim Ho Wan, in Hong Kong, and New York’s O Ya and Kissaki omakase sushi bar. It's all about the experience. One of the oldest institutions in the Belmont area of the Bronx. Gotta be able to say.yeah, Arthur ave in the Bronx...I was there..check out all the stores and Arthur ave Market right next door

A group of 7 in three generations was greeted with energy, smiles and terrific menu options. The service was the best, engaging with two small children, with wise options and great timing. Each course was a gem from appetizers to salad to fish and pasta entrees. A special birthday treat was delivered along with a candle in a delicious cheese cake! Roberto's got it right on all points! Definitely on our list for return visits!

We have been visiting Mythos for many years and have never had a bad meal here. It continues to stand up to that standard. My favorite is the Branzino, always cooked to perfection.
