It was a Sunday evening, we arrived slightly early to the time booked but were still shown to our table. We were given the Sunday roast menu to which three had the beef and I had the lamb. The food tasted great with compliments from my guests. One asked for horseradish sauce to which was provided immediately. My lamb was a little chewy in places but overall was good. The gravy was outstanding in flavour and my guests also commented equally. This was a second visit to the Old Swan for me and two guests, the previous visit being about a year ago and both times were a great experience. It was very comfortable and cosy apart from a draft from the windows (which you would expect in an old building, so it was no problem). The food was delicious and the service was good.
