We are a Laotian restaurant in the heart of the neighborhood of Shaw. Baan Mae means Mom's house in Laotian. Chef Seng of Thip Khao and Padaek is serving up dishes reminiscent of her home kitchen and her mother's kitchen. Mom's House Reservation Policy:All reservations are allowed a 15-minute grace period. All parties must be present at the restaurant to be seated. Food was so amazingly good, from the roasted cauliflower to the tender and flavorful steak. The service was friendly and helpful, modifying the chef's menu for our vegetarian with shellfish allergy guest. And the overall enviroment was warm, welcoming, and cozy. My only complaint is that the experience is so good that no one wants to leave their tables! Like a great family dinner. Thank you

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, and the entire experience was flawless - Fernando was our server and explained the menu in extensive detail. The ambience was cozy, and the service was impressive. All the dishes came out quickly and were so tasty. Fernando gave us free drinks and dessert. Overall a very positive experience and would recommend Amazonia to anyone looking to expand their palette!

We were able to sit out on the patio under 2 space heaters with our party of 10 (family from OOT) - it was great to hear each other and enjoy the wonderful food and service! The hummus (mushroom and lamb) and kebabs are amazing!

The food here was exceptionally good. Bright bold flavors and exciting menu choices that made me want to order everything. Drinks on point as well. Service very friendly and food came out quickly too. All around checks the boxes. I can't wait to go back, definitely a new favorite/staple.
