Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends.     Perfectly presented authentic traditional Lebanese food, arak & coffee, with some enhancing modern twists. Staff are friendly & competent, even guessing which dessert we would like. Lovely peaceful setting at Walsh Bay. So easy to lose track of time & run the risk of being late for a performance (several theatres nearby). Would have preferred that the background music be traditional & that the table light not be an electric imitation candle. Have been several times & will be returning. Thank you, Tony!

    We traveled from rural NSW for my husbands 40th Birthday. The staff were unbelievable, so helpful, we had a cake delivered and stored in the cool room, one guest had food intolerances and they worked around that for us. Easily the best restaurant we’ve been to, and food was amazing! Everyone had an excellent night - thank you.
